More Than Just A Brand Name - A Belief
Branding livestock dates back from 2700 B.C. and pictures in Egyptian tombs document branding oxen with hieroglyphics. The Ancient Greeks and Romans branded livestock and slaves with a hot iron to mark ownership.

‘The sun symbol represents consistency and quality’

Each year around the time of the summer solstice the plains Indians would gather together to observe the Sun dance lasting from four to eight days. Buffalo were their very source of life and were the major symbol of the sundance - dictating the exact time and location of the event. The sundance celebrated the continuity of life and death, reaffirming kinmanship within the natural and social realms ensuring harmony and prosperity would be extended for another year.
